Pickle Spear Burger with Typickle Topping & Burger Sauce

Typickle Spear Topping Burger:

Ingredients:

For the Burger Patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns

For the Pickle Spear Topping:

  • 12 pickle spears (dill or your choice)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

For the Burger Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide it into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.

  2. In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for the pickle spear coating.

  3. Dip each pickle spear into the beaten eggs, then coat it in the seasoned flour mixture, and repeat the process so they are double-coated.

  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C). Carefully place the coated pickle spears into the hot oil using tongs.

  5. Fry the pickle spear chips until they are golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.

  6. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the burger sauce: mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, pickle juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

  7. Cook the burger patties on a grill or stovetop pan until they reach your desired level of doneness, typically about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.

  8. While the burgers are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  9. To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of the burger sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

  10. Place a cooked burger patty on top of the sauce, followed by three crispy pickle spear chips.

  11. Top with the other half of the bun.

  12. Serve your Pickle Spear Burgers hot and enjoy this unique and flavorful twist on a classic burger!

These Pickle Spear Burgers combine the savory goodness of a burger with the crunch and tang of fried pickle spears. Enjoy your meal!
